We Cold Start A 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS For Your Amusement: Video

Everyone knows that feeling you get when you have to wake up early for work on a cold and dreary day, and want nothing more than to stay in bed. You shiver as you walk out into the brisk morning, but your dread soon turns to glee as you start up your ride and hear the howl of a cold engine. In this case, a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS we just finished abusing hooning testing. The exhaust you hear, is completely stock.

The LT1-powered roar that erupts from the 2016 Camaro SS‘ double-tip tailpipe is music to our ears. It’s how a muscle car should sound. As a disclaimer, the start-up setting was in track mode, meaning the dual-mode exhaust system was fully open. And maybe we gassed it a little. It’s impossible not to.

  2. So glad that Chevrolet made the Camaro sound like it should. 5th Generation sounded way to tame.

  4. Not the best place to put the camera. Luckily there wasn’t any condensation in the exhaust.
