July 10 represented National Car Collector Appreciation Day, and Ken Lingenfelter with the help of his team created a short video giving us a quick look at all the marvels of The Lingenfelter Collection, which is undoubtedly one of the most impressive car collections in the state of Michigan, and likely one of the better ones in the country.
With over 150 cars, this rotating collection has some of the most coveted Chevrolet Corvette models of all time, such as the 1954 Duntov mule. But it isn’t just Corvettes, as Mr. Lingenfelter has some other gems stowed away in the collection as well. Statistically, 40 percent of the collection is comprised of Corvettes, muscle cars make up another 30 percent, and exotic make up the remaining 30 percent.
We’re aware that “muscle cars” is a pretty broad term, so here’s a few examples to give you an idea: 1967 Ford Shleby GT-500 Mustang, 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback, and a Mercury Cougar Eliminator. The featured exotic cars are even more impressive, just wait until you see the fleet of Ferraris. There was once even a Bugatti Veyron in the collection, though we don’t see it in the video. You will see, however, a Ferrari FF and a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. Mr. Lingenfelter also owns a LaFerrari and a Lamborghini Reventon.
