Tuning company Vengeance Racing took delivery of their new 2015 Corvette Z06 recently – and speaking of which, if you haven’t already heard, they’ve found that it puts out about 38 HP excess at the crank.
But before the good people of Vengeance Racing took it back to their shop to run it on the dynamometer, they graced the annals of YouTube with an obligatory break-in burnout. In the dealership parking lot.
Yeah. See the video below, if about 40 seconds of lighting up the rear tires sounds interesting to you.
The comments on the YouTube page are quite polarized and, truth be told, largely, hilariously ill-informed. But then, that sums up most of YouTube. All you need to know is that: the car is destined to be essentially ripped apart anyway, to be used as Vengeance Racing’s Z06 R&D testbed, and a low engine-speed burnout is not likely to do any lasting damage to the driveline.
Does that put your concerns to bed? Good. Just sit back, relax, and take in the massive cloud of burning rubber.

I think 15 percent driveline loss is too much. I calculate only 10 percent (dynojet) and therefore it is 650 hp at the crank.
Two C7 Z06 tested by caranddriver were really disappointing , because 18 s up to 150 mph is not as good as a C6 Z06
