Remember the speculation surrounding a certain yellow 2014 Corvette Stingray? In case you don’t recall, the yellow C7 had a plate that read “VP,” and left many to believe that the American sports car belonged to United States Vice President Joe Biden. It’s no secret that Biden is a bit of a Corvette enthusiast, and never misses the chance to check them out when he attends auto shows.
As it turns out, the yellow Stingray was meant for the veep. Kind of. More than anything, the 2014 Corvette Stingray was a prop in a sketch promoting The 2014 White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Aside from the VP, the seven-minute sketch featured First Lady Michelle Obama, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Nancy Pelosi. It’s all in good fun, depending on your viewpoint of the public servants involved in the video, which you can watch just below.

Get his disgusting face of this site. Joey is a loudmouth buffoon and just shamed GM.
makes me not want to buy GM if he is the new spokesman.
No, you are not cool Joey…
And you never will be President.
Next…
I’m not really a fan of Biden, but I think he’s pretty funny. Plus I think they’re reaching into a demo that doesn’t necessarily consider GM when looking for sports cars, not a bad marketing move (although I wonder who picked yellow – like she says in the video, yellow?)
Biden disgraces the brand, Corvette stands for everything he is NOT !
entertaining but really stupid, that can’t help corvette !
Was this garbage supposed to be entertaining or even funny? What a waste of precious minutes.
BFD, not worth the space lost that the story took.
Well…… He’s president now. @jojo
