Five 2014 Silverados To Help Stranded Drivers At Woodward Dream Cruise

The Woodward Dream Cruise is one of the largest car gatherings in the world, and is a legend in the industry. Personally, I’ve attended just about every year since I was born, and every year there’s quite the feast for the eyes. Unfortunately, some folks end up experiencing a nightmare when they bring their cars out to the cruise.

For those that experience trouble with their vehicles, Chevy will have five 2014 Silverado 1500 pickup trucks driving around to help those who become stranded via a dead battery, flat tire, or run out of gas.

On top of the five roaming pickups (with ASE-Certified technicians in them), there will be two locations on Woodward Avenue where enthusiasts of all makes and models can go for assistance. At either of the two locations, there will be more ASE-Certified technicians from local Chevy dealers available for help.

  • Fifth Third Bank – 29710 Woodward Ave (2 blocks N. 12 Mile) Royal Oak, MI 48073
  • The Vitamin Shoppe (Normandy Plaza) – 31753 Woodward Ave Royal Oak, MI 48073

Last year 25-plus cruisers were in need of help, so for 2013 Chevy decided to ramp up the Rescue Squad from two trucks to five.
