With the unveiling debut of the Chevrolet Sonic at the 2011 North American International Auto Show in Detroit comes another vehicle shrouded in mystery. A vehicle that fits the exact profile of the Sonic hatch, though happens to be sporting much more ground clearance.
If this is indeed some sort of Sonic crossover, that would put the vehicle on the Gamma II platform, developed by GM-Daewoo in Korea. Though nobody is sure if this vehicle will see North American shores, we ask that you warp to Autoblog for a full shot of the cloaked mini crossover.

Makes sense since americans love Crossovers.
I hate them but americans in force love their crossovers!
Hope GM produces this vehicle and makes a ton of profit from them!
Thanks for the heads up.
Maybe it’s to fill a void left behind from the AWD Pontiac Vibe?
I know many people who are buying hatchbacks since fuel costs are up, GM is making phenomenal mistake by not selling CRUZE HATCHBACK in US. I would buy one now. I will be looking at other makes. GM is looking at old stats, the market has changed with fuel costs just as europe has 65% hatchback sales US will be same. To bad.
Yeah, I’m right there with you.
I’d get the Cruze Hatch in a heartbeat over my current Cruze sedan. There’s still hope!
