Hit-And-Run Saturn Vue Driver Gets Instant Karma After Running Red Light: Video

Driving can be extremely hectic, but in most situations, the best decision is usually just to slow down and take a moment to breathe. Unfortunately, most folks are far more reactive, and the end result can be disaster. Such is the case in this new viral video, which shows a dramatic collision in Tempe, Arizona, after an alleged hit-and-run in a Saturn Vue.

A Saturn Vue moments from disaster.

According to the video description, the incident began when the driver in the Saturn Vue allegedly rear-ended another vehicle and fled the scene. The driver of the impacted vehicle decided to pursue the fleeing Vue, recording the chase on their phone.

The video starts from the perspective of the driver in the vehicle that was rear-ended, showing us a shot of the Saturn Vue from the side. As the video zooms in, we see the Saturn driver making a rude gesture toward the camera, seemingly unfazed by their earlier actions.

As the video progresses, the Vue barrels toward an intersection. The way ahead shows a red light, but the driver either doesn’t see it, or chooses to ignore the red light entirely. We see the Saturn Vue driver accelerate straight through the intersection, seemingly unaware of the impending danger. Within moments, a pickup truck is seen moving in through the left-hand side of the frame, slamming into the side of the Saturn Vue and causing it to spin violently. The impact is so severe, we see the Vue flip over, rolling several times before it finally comes to a halt amid a field of scattered debris and a massive cloud of dust.

Remarkably, despite the severity of the impact, the video states that the driver “got up, walked around, and refused an ambulance ride to the hospital!” Lucky, too, as the collision could have very well caused some very serious injuries.
