Watch The Reveal Of The 2016 Chevy Volt: NAIAS 2015 Video

Chevrolet introduced the 2016 Volt and the Bolt EV Concept yesterday at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, showcasing the automaker’s commitment to pushing the envelope of EV vehicles.

Receiving a full redesign inside and out while sporting a pure electric range of 50 miles on a full charge, as well as a combined range of over 400 miles on a full tank of gas, the new Volt does the nameplate proud. However, there’s one mundane feature that may be the biggest news of all: the 2016 Chevrolet Volt will seat five. And for you armchair accountants out there, each Volt will cost General Motors $10,000 less to produce, so what’s not to like?

Chances are you were not at the press conference in Detroit for the unveiling, so Chevrolet was kind enough to post the reveal online, which you can watch below.

  1. Looks like an Opel. Seems like the design languages are being aligned so that they match up in Latin America and AU.
Will make a fine global line up
