General Motors delivered 17,036 vehicles in Canada in December of 2013, representing a 16.5 percent sales increase on an annual basis. Retail sales were up 4.3 percent, while fleet sales jumped a whopping 48.7 percent.
Sales of each brand were up year-over-year, including Chevrolet (up 9.13 percent), Buick (up 34.16 percent), GMC (up 22.86 percent,) and Cadillac (up 50.54 percent).
December sales highlights (vs. December 2012):
All four brands’ total sales increased
Chevrolet Silverado sales up 10 percent
GMC Sierra sales up 37 percent
December represented the 15th consecutive month of year-on-year sales growth for Cadillac, driven by strong sales of ATS, SRX and the all-new 2014 CTS Sedan, which was named Motor Trend Car of the Year
Midsize (or is it full-size?) crossovers, including Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia, up 34 percent
