2024 Cadillac Escalade-V To Get 20th Anniversary Features

The Cadillac Escalade-V made its formal introduction in January of 2022 for the 2023 model year, debuting an exciting high-performance variant of the iconic luxury SUV. Now headed into its second model year, the 2024 Cadillac Escalade-V will offer new 20th Anniversary features to mark two decades of Cadillac V-Series products. Here’s what the 2024 Cadillac Escalade-V’s 20th Anniversary of V-Series Commemorative Content will include.

Essentially, the 2024 Cadillac Escalade-V 20th Anniversary will include a selection of fresh aesthetic upgrades to help it stand out from the pack even more. Chief among these will be a custom grille header, as well as a unique puddle lamp projector. The cabin will also present a new wake-up animation screen. Tying it all together will be a new special heritage color, specifically Black Diamond Tricoat, tagged with paint code GLK.

Naturally, Black Diamond Tricoat will have limited availability when it comes to the 2024 Cadillac Escalade-V. Notably, Black Diamond Tricoat paint is also available on the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V, CT4-V Blackwing, CT5-V, and CT5-V Blackwing.

As for the greasy bits, the Cadillac Escalade-V cradles the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, which pumps out 682 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 653 pound-feet of torque at 4,400 rpm. Output is routed through the GM 10-speed automatic transmission, which feeds an active all-wheel-drive system with variable torque split and an electronic limited-slip differential. Properly motivated, the Cadillac Escalade-V will sprint to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds, completing the quarter mile in 12.74 seconds at 110 mph.

Standard spec also includes Air Ride Adaptive Suspension and Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 dampers, plus a multi-link rear end. Brembo brakes provide the stop at all four corners, while P275/50R22SL all-season tires provide the grip.

Under the body panels, the Cadillac Escalade-V rides on the GM T1 platform, while production takes place exclusively at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

WHAT A JOKE!

    They should go all out and give it the LT5....755HP and 715TQ!!! That would be a proper 20th anniversary edition. But this is the new Mary GM....SMFH!!

    • They'd have to re-qual everything with a new engine. Is it going to grenade with the extra weight? Can the diff handle the extra TQ? How about the tranny with the extra weight load? And besides, why? It is probably all ready traction limited. And selling as fast as they make them with the current engine.

      • @mkAtx....seriously?? No they wouldn't. That engine would fit in the engine bay of the Escalade and they could make it work...they just don't want to.

        Traction? It has tons of traction. I suggest you watch the Haggerty video comparison on YouTube of it launching. It does great, but loses to a Raptor R in the latest comparison video because of the HP/TQ difference between it and the Raptor R. It's embarrassing to a GM fan that Ford releases high HP/TQ vehicles that are out performing GM for less money!

        Selling fast? I suggest you do a nation wide search and really see how much they are selling.....

        • The Raptor R is not a luxury vehicle and competes in a different market against the V model. The Escalade is a complete package as a luxury vehicle with performance so you are comparing apples to oranges. Both vehicles don't compete against each other because both have high performance engines.

    • The V series began in 2004 with the CTS sedan. Part of the reason I mentioned the diff in the slade comment was the Gen I CTS-V was killing diffs as it was not stout enough to handle the extra power. This was corrected in the Gen II CTS. I have a CTS-V wagon, great car.
