The 2024 Cadillac Escalade represents the fourth model year of the fifth generation full-size luxury SUV, for which it receives only a few minor changes.
These changes follow the 2021 Escalade, which received a complete overhaul (re-engineering and redesign), followed by minor changes for the 2022 Escalade, more minor changes plus the introduction of the Escalade-V for the 2023 Escalade. Meanwhile, the 2025 Escalade will receive a mid-cycle refresh (see more about the 2025 Cadillac Escalade).

Production
The 2024 Cadillac Escalade began production in November 2023 and is expected to end roughly a year later to make room for the fully-refreshed 2025 model. The Escalade is produced exclusively at the GM Arlington plant in Texas, United States.
Platform
Like all fifth-generation Escalades, the 2024 Cadillac Escalade continues to ride on the GM T1 platform. Otherwise known as GMT-T1 or T1XX, the architecture is designed for pickup trucks and body-on-frame SUVs.
Seating
The 2024 Escalade continues to be offered in two seating configurations, seating either seven or eight passengers.
- Seven-passenger configuration (2-2-3): standard on all trims, this setup features front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with captain’s chairs in the second row (seating two) and a bench seat in the third row (seating three).
- Eight-passenger configuration (2-3-3): available on all trims except for Escalade-V, this setup features front bucket seats (providing seating for two), along with a 60/40 split bench in the second row (seating three) and a bench seat in the third row (seating three).
Beyond 2024
We expect the current, fifth-generation Cadillac Escalade to remain in production through at least the 2028 model year. After that, the Escalade with the internal combustion engine will likely be discontinued and replaced entirely with the fully-electric Escalade IQ.
