The 2024 Buick Envision brings in a mid-cycle refresh for the second generation of the Tri-Shield brand’s crossover, with updates to its exterior styling, interior design, and available safety features headlining the changes it ushers in. Meanwhile, it debuts with a very limited lineup of available wheels.
Specifically, each of the three 2024 Buick Envision trim levels – Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir – gets a single standard wheel style, with no optional wheels available at this time. Thus, the very simple range of offered rollers consists of three wheel styles in total for the model year.
The entry-level Preferred trim rides on 18-inch wheels, while the mid-level Sport Touring and range-topping Avenir trims each get 20-inch wheels instead. All of the wheels are no-charge since all are included as standard with the appropriate trim level, and there are no LPO or dealer-installed options.
RPO Code | Preferred | Sport Touring | Avenir | |
---|---|---|---|---|
18-inch Technical Gray alloy wheel with machine finish and high gloss Black center cap | PXR | S | - | - |
20-inch Carbon Flash Metallic alloy wheel with high gloss Black center cap | PYS | - | S | - |
20-inch alloy wheel with Pearl Nickel finish and Sterling Silver center cap | RTH | - | - | S |
Pricing for the 2024 Buick Envision, as previously detailed by GM Authority, ranges from a starting MSRP of $37,295 for the Preferred trim to $48,395 for the Avenir trim level. The official configurator for the model went live toward the end of June, enabling prospective buyers to test out various combinations of the crossover’s many available options.
The 2024 Envision gets an expanded array of standard safety features, including but not limited to Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicycle Braking, and Rear Cross Traffic Braking. The vehicle gets a very short model year and will soon be succeeded by the 2025 Envision.
The 2024 Envision cradles a single powerplant choice for motivation, specifically the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine developing 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired as standard with the GM nine-speed automatic transmission, while the only drivetrain on offer is AWD across all trim levels.
Under the skin, the Buick Envision makes use of the GM E2 platform for structure. Production of the crossover takes place at the GM-SAIC Jinqiao Plant in Shanghai, China.

Personally, I’m not a fan of all black wheels, especially on a Buick.
Manufactured in China..
So you don't own anything made in China, I suppose?
