Three current Cadillac XT4 exterior paint colors will not be available on the upcoming 2024 Cadillac XT4, GM Authority has learned. The three hues will be retired from the color palette and replaced with new colors.
The colors that will not carry over to the 2024 model year of the Cadillac XT4 are listed below with color codes in parentheses.
GM introduced Rosewood Metallic in 2021 on the 2022 Cadillac XT4 as an extra-cost item, adding an additional $625 to the vehicle’s price. Rosewood Metallic became no longer available to order for the reminder of the 2023 model year in December 2022. At the time, it was unclear whether the hue would return for the 2024 model year.
Galactic Gray Metallic was also introduced for the 2022 model year for the same $625 price. Wave Metallic debuted earlier on the 2021 Cadillac XT4, meaning it has been available on three model years before its currently planned removal.
The 2024 Cadillac XT4 will receive three new paint colors to replace those being taken off the small luxury crossover’s exterior palette. The colors are listed below, again with paint codes in parentheses.
GM will introduce a mid-cycle refresh with the 2024 Cadillac XT4, with updates to both the exterior and interior along with the debut of new tech features. We find a reworked front end with split headlamps, a bigger grille, and aggressive air inlets. The rear shows smaller changes such as larger exhaust outlets.
The interior of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 also gets a revamp. The crossover gets a suite of advanced safety and driver assistance technology. GM Super Cruise will not be available at launch, but is expected to be added at a later date.
The refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 is powered by the same turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, that motivates the 2023 model year. The engine is paired with the GM 9-speed automatic transmission, with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive as available drivetrain options.
2024 Cadillac XT4 start of regular production (SORP) is scheduled for April 2023 and will take place at the GM Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas City.
