The 2022 Cadillac XT4 adds three new exterior colors to its palette: Latte Metallic, Rosewood Metallic, and Galactic Gray Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new Galactic Gray hue.
Assigned RPO code G6M and touch-up paint code WA-427Y, Galactic Gray Metallic is one of nine exterior colors offered on the small luxury crossover:
- Crystal White Tricoat

- Latte Metallic (new for 2022)
- Galactic Gray Metallic (new for 2022)
- Rosewood Metallic (new for 2022)
The Galactic Gray Metallic color is an extra-cost item that adds an additional $625 to the vehicle’s price. It can be combined with all five interior colorways:
- Jet Black
- Jet Black with Cinnamon accents
- Light Platinum/Jet Black
- Light Wheat/Jet Black with Red accents
- Sedona/Jet Black
The 2022 Cadillac XT4 arrives as the fourth model year for the first-generation of the luxury crossover nameplate, bringing with it a few small changes and updates. The model discontinues the red brake caliper option that was previously introduced for the 2021 model year, while adding a new Comfort Package on Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels. This package includes an eight-way power passenger seat, driver and front passenger ventilated seats and leather seating surfaces. Additionally, the brand of the leatherette seats is introduced as Inteluxe, while the material continues to be the same.
Like all prior model years of the XT4, the 2022 Cadillac XT4 continues to be powered by GM’s turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, which mates to GM’s nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel-drive is standard while all-wheel-drive is an extra-cost option.
The Cadillac XT4 is produced at the GM Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas.
