The 2023 Cadillac XT4 serves as the fifth model year of the first-generation subcompact luxury crossover, with GM currently gearing up to introduce a mid-cycle refresh for the 2024 model year. Now, GM Authority has learned that the 2023 XT4 has lost a paint color option.
Rosewood Metallic (color code GCK) is no longer available to order for the reminder of the 2023 model year. Previously available on all trims for an extra $625, it’s currently unclear if this hue will return for the 2024 XT4.
As a refresher, Rosewood Metallic was one of three new paint jobs introduced for the 2022 model year. The other two colors include Latte Metallic, and Galactic Gray Metallic.
With the removal of Rosewood Metallic, the 2023 XT4 is now available to order with one of seven remaining exterior hues:
As a reminder, the upcoming mid-cycle refresh for the 2024 model year will feature revised exterior styling and interior upgrades. Changes to the front include a revised fascia as well as an updated lighting arrangement. Out back, more revisions have been applied to the lower half of the rear fascia, along with an updated exhaust treatment.
On the tech side, the 2024 XT4 will feature a large widescreen digital instrument panel and infotainment screen in a similar layout to the latest Cadillac Escalade and new Cadillac Lyriq.
In regards to the current 2023 Cadillac XT4, the luxury marque’s subcompact crossover is powered by the turbocharged 2.0L LSY I4 gasoline engine, which produces 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This single engine option is paired to a single transmission option, the GM nine-speed automatic transmission.
As for structure, the 2023 XT4 rides on the GM E2 platform, while production takes place at the GM Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas City, Kansas.
