Certain options for the 2025 Corvette will soon face availability constraints, impacting the C8 Stingray, the C8 Z06, and the C8 E-Ray. While the exact level of these constraints remains unclear, a variety of different items are expected to be limited . It’s also unclear at this time when these constraints may be resolved.
As for constraints affecting the 2025 Corvette Stingray, the following wheel option is impacted:
For the high-performance Z06 lineup, two Carbon Aero packages will be constrained:
Additionally, several ground effects options for the Z06 and hybrid E-Ray will be affected as well:
Notably, these constraints are not a new development for the Corvette lineup. In fact, as GM Authority has covered in the past, many of the items have experienced limited availability in prior production cycles, including four 2024 Corvette Stingray wheels, the Corvette Z06 carbon fiber aero packages, and the E-Ray carbon fiber packages.
Owners and enthusiasts considering these options are encouraged to confirm availability with their dealership as early as possible to secure their desired configurations.
The 2025 Corvette serves as the sixth model year for the mid-engine C8, bringing with it a few small updates and changes for the existing model lineup, as well as the debut of the ultra-high-performance C8 ZR1.
As for the powertrain options, the C8 Corvette Stingray is equipped with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, the C8 Corvette Z06 is equipped with the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine, and the hybrid C8 Corvette E-Ray is equipped with the same LT2 gasoline engine as the C8 Stingray, plus a front-mounted electric motor.
All C8 variants ride on the GM Y2 platform, with production taking place at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.
Scheduled for a Spring 2025 launch.
Horsepower and grip take the win.
Amid a legal battle with a GM supplier.
With multiple model years recommended.

The continuing saga of gm unable to meet customer demand. You would think that they could get their act together 6 years in. Pathetic.
The venders auto MFRs use are all over the world and Covid 19 is still prevalent in the world causing shortages of almost everything in fact i just had a recall done but had to wait 16 months for parts to repair.
This is not unusual since the pandemic.
My local dealer just got an allocation 2 weeks ago for a ZO6 with no constraints.
Will be the second one they got with exposed CF aero and wheels. The 1st one was an early 2023.
The dealership is expected to be in a position to process my order for the E-Ray within the current or subsequent month. I have been preemptively briefed about potential limitations, which I find to be wholly unacceptable. This issue has persisted for several years, consistently attributed to disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. General Motors has had ample time to identify alternative suppliers or manufacturers to replenish their inventory of parts. It is evident that a comprehensive restructuring of their supply chain management is imperative to address these recurrent deficiencies.
Those who don’t know until they pay for their car but ordering the high wing and front downforce planes will have to pay higher gas guzzler tax because they get worse MPG’s. Won’t effect the common sense man who is not regularly tracking their car or just pretending to show of a car that belongs on a track! Wannabes! You know who you are!!
Hey Greg. I believe that all 2025 Z06’s get slapped with the 3k gas guzzler tax.
The gas guzzler tax is from the Jimmy Carter days. Remember, federal office building’s thermostats set at 67, wear a sweater at work. The tax cost more to implement than revenue it brings in.
I can't believe that this issue has not been resolved! I waited at least a year longer to get a car with the exposed carbon fiber aero, wheels, and the interior. I still was not able to order the carbon mirrors or the boomerang trim on the rear vents. MacMulkin (the largest Corvette dealer in the world) said they had never seen the rear trim part available in two years of production!
GM has made an amazing car but they are not holding vendors accountable. If anyone says Covid, they should be replaced. That has not been a viable excuse for at least two years. Replace, add vendors, or bring production in house. The aftermarket does not have a supply issue. Is this a union thing?
