2024 Corvette Z06 And E-Ray Carbon Fiber Package Constraints Lifted

C8 Corvette customers looking to equip their 2024 Corvette Z06 or 2024 Corvette E-Ray with some tasty composite goodness will be happy to learn that certain carbon fiber packages for the mid-engine sports car are once again widely available. Previously, the availability of these upgrades was limited due to supplier constraints, but GM Authority has since learned that these supplier constraints have been resolved, making the carbon fiber packages fully accessible to customers. GM Authority first reported on the carbon fiber package constraints in August of last year.

The 2024 Corvette is once again widely available with certain carbon fiber packages.

For the 2024 Corvette Z06, two carbon fiber packages are once again widely available, the first of which is the Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber package (RPO code T0F), which includes a high wing, dive planes, and ground effects, priced at $8,495. This package includes Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber ground effects (RPO code CFZ), which, on its own, costs $2,995.

The second carbon fiber Z06 upgrade now widely available is the Visible carbon fiber package (RPO code T0G), which also comes with a high wing, dive planes, and ground effects, but is priced a bit higher at $10,495. The Visible carbon fiber package includes the Visible carbon fiber ground effects option (RPO code CFV), priced at $3,995 if purchased separately.

Both the C8 Z06 and the C8 E-Ray can be equipped with either the Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber ground effects (CFZ) or the Visible carbon fiber ground effects (CFV). As such, the C8 Corvette E-Ray is now widely available with both of these options following the recently lifted constraints.

As a reminder, the 2024 Corvette Z06 boasts the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 engine, producing 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, enough to send the Z06 from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds.

Meanwhile the 2024 Corvette E-Ray is equipped with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine, which is paired with a single front-mounted electric motor to dole out a combined 655 horsepower. The C8 E-Ray is the first production Corvette to equip hybrid power, and it’s the first production Corvette to equip all-wheel drive, as well.

Both sports cars ride on the GM Y2 platform, and both are produced exclusively at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.
