The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V gets two new exterior colors: Electric Blue and Blaze Orange Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new orange hue.
Assigned RPO code GCF and touch-up paint code WA-626G, Blaze Orange Metallic is one of nine exterior colors offered on the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V and 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing models.
The Blaze Orange Metallic color is an extra-cost item, adding an additional $625 to the vehicle’s price. As we mentioned above, the hue is available on the CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing, in addition to the CT4 Sport, but it’s not offered on the Luxury or Premium Luxury trim levels. On the CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing, the color can be combined with all interior colorways.
Here are all available 2022 Cadillac CT4-V interior color combinations:
The Cadillac CT4 received a few minor changes for the 2022 model year, including the deletion of three exterior colors – Velocity Red, Evergreen Metallic, and Dark Blue Moon Metallic. These have been indirectly replaced by Blaze Orange Metallic, now-discontinued Dark Emerald Frost (only for CT4-V Blackwing), and Electric Blue.
In addition, the small luxury sedan introduces the new Onyx Package, which adds gloss black wheels and various black exterior trim pieces. There’s also a new Radiant Package that gives the car additional bright exterior accents. Lastly, GM also added standard wireless phone charging along with more standard active safety features.
The bigger news is the addition of the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing ultra-performance model to the lineup. Taking the CT4-V to the next level, the CT4-V Blackwing is powered by GM’s twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. It also features unique front and rear fascias, upgraded chassis and suspension systems, upgraded performance brakes, and two available carbon fiber aero packages.
The 2022 Cadillac CT4 is produced at the GM Lansing Grand River Assembly plant in Michigan alongside its larger sibling, the Cadillac CT5 luxury sedan, as well as the Chevy Camaro muscle car. All three models ride on the GM Alpha platform.
