The 2022 Cadillac CT4 range gets three new exterior colors: Electric Blue, Dark Emerald Frost, and Blaze Orange Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new orange hue.
Assigned RPO code GCF and touch-up paint code WA-626G, Blaze Orange Metallic is one of ten exterior colors available on the 2022 Cadillac CT4:
- Black Raven
- Blaze Orange Metallic
- Crystal White Tricoat
- Diamond Sky Metallic

The Blaze Orange Metallic color is an extra-cost item, adding an additional $625 to the vehicle’s price. The hue is only available on the Sport, CT4-V, and CT4-V Blackwing models, meaning that it’s not offered on Luxury or Premium Luxury trims. In fact, the CT4-V Blackwing was the model to introduce the Blaze Orange hue.
In addition, the color can only be combined with the following interior colorways: Jet Black with Jet Black accents, as well as Sangria with Jet Black accents.
Here are all available 2022 Cadillac CT4 interior color combination:

The 2022 Cadillac CT4 received a few minor changes, with one of the bigger ones being the deletion of three exterior colors – Velocity Red, Evergreen Metallic, and Dark Blue Moon Metallic. These have been indirectly replaced by Blaze Orange Metallic, Dark Emerald Frost, and Electric Blue.
In addition, the small luxury sedan introduces a new Onyx Package, which adds gloss black wheels and various black exterior trim pieces. There’s also a new Radiant Package that gives the car additional bright exterior accents. Lastly, GM also added standard wireless phone charging along with more standard active safety features.
The bigger news is the addition of the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing ultra-performance model to the lineup. Taking the CT4-V to the next level, the CT4-V Blackwing is powered by GM’s twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. It also features unique front and rear fascias, upgraded chassis and suspension systems, upgraded performance brakes, and two available carbon fiber aero packages.
The 2022 Cadillac CT4 is produced at the GM Lansing Grand River Assembly plant in Michigan alongside the Cadillac CT5 sedan and the Chevy Camaro muscle car.

An orange Cadillac…I don’t think so.
Actually, it looks quite good with the blacked out trim of the sport and v trim levels, though it does beg for a good window tint. I suspect the evergreen will be missed as it was reasonably handsome, but I say good riddance to the velocity red, which had all the appeal of a rustoleum fire hydrant hue. The moon blue, which was quite easily confused with black, Probably will be unnoticed in it’s demise. Not mentioned, but surprisingly attractive is the off-white rift color when paired with dark grey wheels. Likewise the electric blue of the blackwing is surprisingly beautiful even if it does give off a Richard Petty vibe. The ct4 definitely has the lines and facets to look sharp and unmistakably Cadillac. It wears several colors well. I wish the same could be said for the ct5, but somehow it manages to emulate the accord/altima/impala in pretty much any color and only seems to stand out in full blackwing trim.
