2023 Chevy Equinox Pricing Revealed

GM Authority has uncovered pricing for the 2023 Chevy Equinox compact crossover, which receives a few changes compared to the preceding 2022 model year.

The 2023 Chevy Equinox will start at $27,995 for the entry-level LS trim with front-wheel drive, including the $1,395 destination freight charge. Pricing for the LT trim with FWD, meanwhile, has risen to $29,095, while the sporty RS starts at $32,095 and the range-topping Premier starts at $33,195. All-wheel drive can be added to any Chevy Equinox trim for a $1,600 price premium.

One of the major updates for the 2023 Chevy Equinox is the introduction of a new engine. Per previous GM Authority coverage, the 2023 Chevy now comes equipped with the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine, which is rated at 175 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 203 pound-feet of torque at 2,000 rpm. Output is routed through the familiar GM six-speed automatic transmission. The new turbo 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine replaces the turbo 1.5L I4 LYX gasoline engine equipped in the 2022 Chevy Equinox, which was rated at 170 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque.

In addition, GM has also implemented a new electronic brake booster system on the 2023 Chevy Equinox and introduced a revised exterior color palette that ditches the Silver Ice Metallic, Seaglass Blue Metallic and Cherry Red Tintcoat exterior colors and indirectly replaces them with Sterling Gray Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat and Harvest Bronze Metallic. The 2023 Equinox is also available with both the Blackout package and Redline Edition package, however both of these appearance packages are currently unavailable to order.

Production of the 2023 Chevy Equinox began on August 22^nd. The compact crossover is produced at the GM San Luis Potosí plant and the GM Ramos Arizpe plant, both of which are in Mexico. It rides on the GM D2 platform.
