2023 Corvette Z06 In Accelerate Yellow: Live Photo Gallery

The 2023 Corvette Z06 is a beastly machine, pumping up the performance with a long list of go-faster equipment ready to hit the track. Now, we’re getting our first look at the 2023 Corvette Z06 in a head-turning shade dubbed Accelerate Yellow thanks to the following GM Authority Live Photo Gallery.

The eye-searing Accelerate Yellow paint option is tagged with color code GD0, and while we’ve seen  the new Z06 in Arctic White, Silver Flare Metallic, Amplify Orange, and Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic, this is the first time we’ve seen it in Accelerate Yellow. This particular 2023 Corvette Z06 is the convertible body style, although the sports car is also offered as a coupe.

Up front, we see the wider stance and revised fascia unique to the 2023 Corvette Z06. This particular example also appears to be equipped with the optional Z07 Performance Package, which adds in a host of extras that take the sports car to even higher levels of performance, including composite aero bits like a larger carbon fiber front splitter and front-corner dive planes.

The profile view reveals the standard “wishbone” side intake trim, while the large five-spoke wheels are finished in black, providing a clear view of the yellow-finished brake calipers underneath.

Viewed from behind, the rear fascia of this 2023 Corvette Z06 is dominated by the enormous Z07 carbon fiber wing, which combos nicely with the black nacelles and roof. Also notable is the camo-clad rear lower bumper treatment, which houses a quartet of centrally placed exhaust tips.

As for what’s hiding underneath the body panels, the 2023 Corvette Z06 features the naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine, which motivates the go-faster Vette with 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Redline is set at 8,600 rpm, while the exhaust note has a decidedly exotic flavor to it. Under the body panels, the 2023 Corvette Z06 rides on the GM Y2 platform. Production takes place at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

  • As a previous owner of 6 different year corvettes, the new body reminds me of a made in China Matchbox toy car. Add insult deserved, why did they add Camaro taillight to the car? They over did it in attempting to duplicate Ferrari and Lamborghini streamline body contours and came up with instead a body that looks like a Kit Car.

    • I know how you feel. But consider the F117A fighter jet? unconventional? superior? Yes. Camaro taillights? You must not have owned a C 7, the C8 taillights are a natural evolution of the C7. Not that I think they are improved, just sayin, C7.

    • There are thousands and thousands of people that would disagree with you and have purchased the C-8, me one of them. As an owner of 8 new Corvettes, I say they knocked it out of the park.

  • J ust switch Bowling Green production to 100 percent Z06, for a year or two. skip all the others.

  • I bet the Z06s they are teasing us with are already being delivered. To Concierge special treatment celebrity customers around the world.

  • I had to keep working, instead of retiring, to be able to purchase my C8 . My hopes of ever being able to purchase a Z06 will never happen. I need to stop working, and when a civillian stops working, social security does not buy new cars.
