A new $1,000 incentive is available to Costco members who want to buy a new Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra pickup during June or July 2024, thanks to the addition of the models to the Costco Auto Savings Event, part of the Costco Auto Program.
The incentive applies to both 2023 and 2024 Chevy Silverado trucks, as well as 2023 and 2024 GMC Sierra pickups, and can be combined with other Silverado discount offers and Sierra incentives, according to Costco’s announcement.
Popular demand played a role in adding the two vehicles to the list of incentive-eligible models. Program manager Jay Maxwell noted that the “Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 have consistently been the top two trucks Costco members request through our program.” The Silverado has been the most-requested Chevy vehicle for 11 years, and has seen the highest number of sales when the incentive is applied to it.
The Sierra has been in demand for about half that time, or six years. Maxwell remarked that “adding the top-selling internal combustion engine trucks (ICE) alongside the lineup of EV models” has the positive effect of providing “more variety for members.”
Other brands represented in the $1,000 incentive program include Volvo and Cadillac, while a $2,000 incentive is offered on the Polestar 2. Members can also get a thousand dollar incentive for the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq and 2024 Cadillac Lyriq crossovers. More Chevrolet models involved in the program include the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV and 2024 Chevy Blazer EV. In all cases, the incentive is available through July 31st.
In order to obtain the incentive, buyers need to register over the telephone or on the Costco Auto Program website. Once registered and shown to be eligible, the vehicle shopper receives a certificate bearing a unique promotion code to bring with them to the dealership. While the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra are not EVs, electric models may also qualify for the $7,500 tax incentive.
Costco program manager Maxwell added that the new incentive gives consumers “the opportunity to truly find a vehicle that fits their lifestyle.”

This is great! Now if I could just afford my groceries!
go to costco for your groceries. LOL
Nice incentive but your timing has to be right to take advantage of it. I purchased a new 2024 Sierra in February and of course it wasn’t offered then. No sour grapes but a year round Costco incentive on those two “popular” trucks would be better than just lucking into a two month program shot outta the blue.
Great deal….but you have to buy 12 of them
