2024 Chevrolet Silverado
The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado is expected to bring small rolling changes to the Light-Duty Silverado 1500 model following the major refresh for the 2022 model year.
Meanwhile, the Silverado Heavy-Duty models are set to receive a major refresh for 2024, including new front and rear end designs, a new interior, along with potential powertrain updates. It’s worth noting that this refresh was originally scheduled for the 2023 model year, however, the product cycle is behind due to complications brought on by COVID-19 and a shortage of superconductor chips. Additionally, the fourth-generation Silverado HD pickups are currently performing extremely well in the market place.
The Medium-Duty Silverado 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD trucks, on the other hand, are expected to receive minor changes and updates.

Production
As of 2019, Silverado 1500 models have been assembled at the Silao plant in Mexico and the Fort Wayne plant in Indiana, USA.
Additionally, the Oshawa plant in Canada is currently only building Chevrolet Silverados. Production began with the Silverado HD in November. In the spring of 2022, Oshawa will begin producing Silverado 1500s, timed with the launch of the refreshed model announced earlier this year. This will make Oshawa the only GM plant to exclusively produce Silverado models, and the only plant making both light and heavy-duty trucks. The GM Flint plant in Michigan also builds heavy-duty trucks.
The Silverado Medium Duty 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD are built at the Navistar Springfield plant in Springfield, Ohio, United States.
