The 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is nothing short of the ultimate track-ready Caddy, offering supercharged performance and muscle-bound style, all without forgoing any of the luxury expected of the Cadillac crest. Now, potential customers and curious fans can spec theirs to taste using the official 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing online configurator.
Found at Cadillac.com, the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing online configurator lists ten available exterior paint colors, eight of which are Premium colors offered at an extra cost. There’s also six available interior color and material options.
The packages are quite tempting as well, and include two Carbon Fiber Packages that add a host of tasty composite exterior bits to the four-door. There’s also the Driver Assist Package, the Parking Assist Package, and the Interior Protection Package on offer.
Further optional equipment includes several 19-inch wheel designs and the Carbon Ceramic Brakes package, the latter of which replaces the standard cast-iron brakes with new lightweight components that reduce unsprung mass at all four corners.
The suspension spec includes fourth-generation Magnetic Ride Control, with stiffer spring rates, unique hollow stabilizer bars, enhanced shock tower braces, and higher-rate bushings, all of which are intended to provide an optimized balance between everyday comfort on the street, and control on the track. Under the skin, the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing rides on the Alpha II rear-wheel drive architecture.
Standard spec in the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing includes the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4, which produces a very healthy 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. The V8 connects to either a six-speed manual, or, as an available option, a 10-speed automatic. Both transmissions route power exclusively to the rear wheels.
Pricing for the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing starts at $84,990, while the 10-speed automatic bumps that up to $88,165. Both prices listed exclude tax, title, license, dealer fees, and optional equipment.

This is a really cool car, likely one of the last HP ICE cars for Cadillac, I would love the chance to guide on around a track a time or two.
Built one before checking my lotto ticket results. Made it to $110000, without ceramic brakes and with a stick. I would own this car before a C8
Would love to know formal production and availability goals, although I'm sure this depends on demand.
Seems to be about $95k for a well-equipped manual, sport seats, some carbon fiber and a few odds and ends (no sunroof).
That's about $12-15K less than an equivalent M5, $15-20K more than an M3 manual sedan (if you can stand the look)
Managed to hold mine down to $107,750.
GM is making some exceptional cars nowadays. It would be interesting to see who have the best lap times between the CT5 Blackwing and the C8 Z51 Stingray. IMO, the Blackwing will give the Z51 a very good run for its money.
If you have money burning a hole in the pocket, spec this baby out. This car is worth it, a collectors item and will be a classic many years down the road.
That is one heck of a supersport sedan.
Can I spec a Wagon??
Styling sells cars and the lack of styling does not. This car looks like all the rest and will not stand out on a freeway as something special. One look at the Corvette C8 says it all. IT stands out very well.
Dam that's more expensive then the ct6v blackwing full size sedan... does it come with a hdmi system for the back seats? Nightvision? 360 recorder? 36 bose speaker sound system?
What does this get over the ct6v besides 0.1 second faster? Guess it's more track ready, but smaller too.
For me, a CT6-V owner that is interested in this car - it’s the manual transmission. Probably the last great MT sedan produced. I’m just hoping they make enough to buy one.
