Updated 2025 Cadillac Escalade Has Over 100 New Ambient Lighting Color Options: Feature Spotlight

Luxury vehicles like the 2025 Cadillac Escalade are all about creating a custom experience perfectly tailored to the customer’s preferences, even down to something as simple as the lighting setup. To that end, the ambient lighting in the refreshed Escalade’s cabin is highly adjustable, with over 100 new ambient lighting color options on offer. As if that wasn’t enough, the array of ambient lighting colors are customizable in several discreet zones, offering even more opportunities for individualization.

In total, the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade features 126 ambient lighting color options. That’s a significant increase compared to the 18 ambient lighting colors on offer for the 2021- through 2024-model-year Cadillac Escalade.

“So if it’s game night, you can change the lighting to your team’s colors,” explained Escalade Marketing Manager Donnelly Baxter during a recent interview with GM Authority Executive Editor, Alex Luft. “If you want to set the mood with red lighting or blue or green, you’ve got all those options, too. And all that is split between a lower zone and an upper zone.”

Notably, the 126-color ambient lighting options available in the new Escalade are also available in the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq,  as well as the refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5, all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq, and the all-new, all-electric 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ.

The extra interior light color options on offer by the 2025 Cadillac Escalade coincides with a full interior overhaul headlined by a “pillar-to-pillar” 55-inch display, which stretches across the dash and combines a 35-inch driver display with a 20-inch front passenger display, creating a single, massive infotainment center. Further cabin highlights include an AKG Studio stereo system, 5G connectivity, and GM Super Cruise, the automaker’s semi-autonomous driver assist system.

Motivation is derived from the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, while the 2025 Escalade-V is powered by the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine. Under the skin, all Escalade variants ride on the GM T1 platform. Finally, vehicle production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
