The 2026 Cadillac Vistiq made its formal introduction earlier this week, debuting an all-new, three-row crossover and further bolstering the luxury marque’s all-electric portfolio. In addition to showing off Cadillac’s latest EV-centric exterior design language, the new Vistiq is also equipped with a handsome cabin headlined by a prominent two-spoke steering wheel. Now, we’re taking a closer look at the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq steering wheel with the following GM Authority Feature Spotlight.
The Vistiq’s two-spoke steering wheel design can also be found in the ultra-premium Celestiq sedan and all-electric Escalade IQ, and features spokes at the 9 and 3 o’clock positions, leaving the 6 o’clock position notably open. In addition to creating continuity across Caddy’s EV lineup, the design is also reminiscent of the steering wheels found in Caddy classics like the Seville and Fleetwood Brougham. However, the wheel in the Vistiq evolves the look with a modern twist and high-end materials, all of which make it perfectly suited for today’s luxury market.
The two spokes are integrated with an array of tactile controls. The right spoke houses controls primarily for infotainment and audio functions. Buttons here allow the driver to adjust volume, navigate through music tracks, and answer or decline calls. There’s also a button dedicated to activating voice commands, enabling hands-free interaction with the vehicle’s infotainment system.
Meanwhile, the left spoke includes buttons for cruise control settings and the heated steering wheel function, as well as various other drive assist systems. There’s also a V mode button, which will likely allow customers to customize a variety of different vehicle settings to their liking.
Cadillac’s choice of steering wheel style for the Vistiq represents a cohesive design language across its premium models. This new “up-market wheel” helps to distinguish it from the steering wheels found in models like the Lyriq and Optiq, which feature a different shape and a spoke at the 6 o’clock position.
As a reminder, the Cadillac Visitiq features a dual-motor powertrain doling out 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Pricing starts at $78,790, while production is expected to kick off at the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee early in 2025.

This could be the impetus for a new "after market wheel" industry... 😀
EVs should not pride themselves on stealing design cues from the 70s.
not interested in anything related to EV ,,Hey Mary what are you going to do when Cadillac sale decline
Who cares. Just rebadged Ultium junk.
Talk about incompetence. The more spokes you have the more durable the customer thinks the car is.
