Introducing mostly modest updates and changes, the 2025 Corvette nevertheless gets a significant overhaul of its lineup of exterior paint colors compared to the 2024 Chevy Corvette. Seven colors were dropped from the palette, while three new paints were added, including Competition Yellow Tintcoat Metallic, Hysteria Purple Metallic and Sebring Orange Tintcoat. Here’s a closer look at the Sebring Orange color.
Sebring Orange Tintcoat is identified by color code G26 and touch-up paint number WA-418C, and is one of the 10 exterior paint colors offered on the 2025 Corvette. It is actually not a new paint color, having been previously available on the 2019 C7 Corvette and the 2020 to 2021 C8 Corvette, but was replaced by Amplify Orange Tintcoat (color code GC5).
Now Sebring Orange is back, as the summary of colors available on the 2025 Corvette below shows (paint codes in parenthesis):
Sebring Orange Tintcoat is an extra-charge color and costs $995 to select for a Vette’s exterior paint. It is available on all trim levels of the 2025 Corvette Stingray, E-Ray and Z06. The Sebring Orange color can be combined with interior colorways Jet Black, Sky Cool Gray, Sky Cool Gray interior / Jet Black seats, Jet Black interior / Sky Cool Gray seats, Jet Black interior / Adrenaline Red seats, Natural, Natural Dipped, Artemis and Habanero.
However, it cannot be ordered in conjunction with Adrenaline Red, Adrenaline Red Dipped, Tension Blue / Twilight Blue Dipped and Adrenaline Red interior / Jet Black seats. The only exception is if the buyer chooses the $695 Color Combination Override option (RPO code D30), thereby skipping Chevy’s recommended color combos.

Pricing for the 2025 Chevy Corvette, as highlighted by GM Authority, sees the cost of the Stingray remain the same, with a $2,000 hike in MSRP for the Z06 and E-Ray. Starting MSRP for the Corvette C8 Stingray 1LT Coupe is $69,995, with the most expensive variant being the Corvette C8 Z06 3LZ Convertible starting at $134,345. The price includes a $1,695 destination freight charge, while the online configurator for the model is available to try out builds.
Among other 2025 Corvette updates, the Z06 fuel economy figures have been revised to 12 mpg in the city, 20 mpg on the highway, and 14 mpg combined. The Stingray gets a new, more aggressively-styled Z51 rear spoiler (RPO code T0A), while the biggest news is the advent of the 2025 Corvette ZR1 as the most powerful Vette variant ever produced.
Each variant of the 2025 Chevy Corvette gets its own powertrain. The naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine developing 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque motivates the Stingray, while the same LT2 engine is equipped in the E-Ray with a supplemental front-mounted electric motor for a combined 655 horsepower.
The naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine supplies the Z06 with 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, while the new C8 Corvette ZR1 features the twin-turbocharged 5.5L V8 LT7 engine developing a whopping 1,064 horsepower and 828 pound-feet of torque.
All variants of the Chevy C8 Corvette continue to use the GM Y2 platform for structure, while production takes place at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.
No other incentives offered on all-new, next-gen three-row crossover.
Limited-run package includes a selection of aesthetic upgrades.
Homebuilt performance truck takes on the OEM rival.

I saw the new Hysteria purple at a car show and its gorgeous. If I took my Corvette in to the dealer for an oil change and they had one on the showroom floor I'd probably buy it before I could stop myself.
Orange is not my cup of tea, however to each his own. I have had 2 C-8’s. First one was a 2020 Shadow Grey, my current one is a 2024 Hyporsonic Grey. Both are beautiful, however I prefer the Shadow Grey over the Hyporsonic Grey.
If someone wants their new Corvette to stand out this is the color. Of course, this color will certainly attract the attention of state troppers looking to right speeding tickets. If I repainted my ION sedan that color people would think that it is a private taxi!
