Livernois Motorsports Dynos Its Z06-Rivalling Corvette Stingray

Hailing from the same state GM resides in, Livernois Motorsports has taken a crack at beefing up America’s favorite sports car, the C7 Corvette.

The team started with a Corvette Stingray and proceed to chuck the top-of-the-heap Stage 3+ tuning package at its unsuspecting 6.2L LT1 V8 heart.

In went Livernois Motorsports’ Stage 2 CNC ported cylinder heads and 2-vb camshaft, billet DOD delete plate, cam phaser limiter, upgraded pushrods, dual valve spring systems, shortblock procharger d1sc supercharger, plus a ARH catted X-pipe and long tube headers. Lastly, it was treated to an ECU remap and a custom tune for 93-octane and race fuel.

The results of its work are pretty eye-popping: 719 horsepower and 636 pounds-feet of torque to the rear wheels. Pour in race gas and you’re looking at 752 rear-wheel-horses & 657 rear-wheel-torques.

It might not pack the visual punch of a Corvette Z06, but this Livernois C7 Stage 3+ Pack can now embarrass nearly any factory sports car dumb enough to cross its path, big brother included.
