The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is already a standout in Cadillac’s lineup, combining exceptional track performance with the unexpected practicality of a four-door sedan. Now, however, we’re seeing what happens when that practicality is double-underlined with a new long-roof body design. The end result is this 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing wagon, which, to our eyes, looks ready to haul all manner of things.
Recently posted to social media by Cole Attisha, this 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing wagon looks to deliver a blend of performance and utility that would likely appeal to a wide range of enthusiasts.
The renderings show CT5-V Blackwing an elongated roofline that still preserves the car’s signature aggressive styling. The images highlight the refreshed front-end design that Cadillac introduced for the 2025 model year, complete with an imposing grille, sleek headlamps, and an aerodynamic stance. The angles, splitter and mesh grille insert are all present and accounted for.
In the rear, the wagon styling brings a sportier edge to the typical wagon form, with bold vertical taillights and quad exhaust tips that back the Blackwing’s powerful spec sheet. The taillight design reminds us of the iconic vertical setup seen on the Escalade, including the high-performance Escalade-V.
Speaking of performance, this 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing wagon would likely retain the same supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine as its sedan-bodied equivalent, pushing out 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. As a reminder, the sedan is built on GM’s Alpha 2 platform, while production of the standard CT5-V Blackwing takes place at GM’s Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan. Pricing for the sedan version starts at $96,990.
While GM is obviously far more focused on crossovers, SUVs, and trucks, this digital CT5-V Blackwing wagon gives Cadillac fans and performance enthusiasts something new to dream about. Because why not – with plenty of space to get to soccer practice during the week, plus a plethora of go-fast goodies to hunt apexes on the weekend, everybody can leave satisfied.

I usually ignore "renderings" as pipe dreams but, as a wagon enthusiast (and TourX owner), I just have to stare and drool at this one. Wow. This is awesome. There are no wagons in the entire U.S. lineup, so I think there is a solid business case for this kind of variant.
Or, you could look as past wagon sales and know there is zero solid business case for this.
Mercedes, BMW, and Audi all have screaming fast wagons. Since the Blackwing was built to take on Europe's AMG/M/RS series sedans, why not take on the Europeans in the AMG/M/RS wagon segment too?
I've owned 50 wagons since my first one in 1975 and for the last 30 or so years wagon sales were slow but every wagon built was sold
it is not rendering, a machine did with a text
The CTS wagon was a bust so why do artists constantly come up with new ones? Also, if rumors turn out to be true and Cadillac goes all-EV soon, the CT4 and 5 are toast shortly.
They all sold. I owned a 2012 CTS-V and .oved it and made money on it
Sporty front and hideous rear end, it is the official mullet of the car industry... I'm weirdly impressed.
I'd buy one...I'm on my fourth Sport Wagon now, they're getting a little hard to find.
They should build it and offer it as a limited edition. It'll never be a sales leader, but it could become a desirable rarity.
I would be interested in a regular Cadillac wagon. I miss the Volvo v70 which I had for 13 years.
Awesome looking rendering! Fingers crossed for a reasonably priced (sub-$100K) next-generation electric wagon and coupe.
I promise you if that existed, I would own it.
