2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 Officially Introduced In Argentina

Just as it confirmed the arrival of the full-size pickup in Argentina late last year, General Motors has just officially introduced the 2025 Chevy Silverado in the South American country.

The automaker’s Argentine subsidiary is finally introducing the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 to the domestic market of that country, where the fourth-generation Silverado was first introduced in late 2019. However, GM indefinitely postponed the pickup’s local launch due to the nation’s economic crisis. Now, the arrival of the brand’s flagship truck in Argentina is materializing with the 2025 Silverado line, which is available for reservation as a premium model.

“With the New Silverado, Chevrolet demonstrates the strength of the brand and responds to the growing pickup’s demand in the Argentine market with a model that showcases General Motors’ historic know-how as a truck manufacturer,” said Commercial Director of GM Argentina, Raúl Mier. “The Silverado has attributes and capacity that will surprise the Argentine consumer who, I am sure, will quickly position it as the benchmark in the full-size segment,” he added.

In particular, the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 is introduced to the Argentine market to expand Chevrolet’s pickup truck portfolio as the largest and most prestigious model that will complete the current lineup – comprised of the compact Chevy Montana and the midsize Chevy S10. The initial 2025 Silverado range in Argentina will consist of the High Country and the Z71 Trail Boss, with market-exclusive features.

As GM Authority reported last year, the 2025 Chevy Silverado for Argentina is based on the fully equipped variant tailored for the Brazilian market, with a Crew Cab Short Bed configuration and rearview mirrors borrowed from the Chevy Silverado HD. In fact, although the official images don’t show it, the 2025 Silverado Z71 Trail Boss that GM Argentina displayed at the launch event is equipped with the larger mirrors, and the country is the first to offer this specific variant in South America.

Reservations are now open for the 2025 Chevy Silverado in Argentina, in anticipation of the model’s imminent local launch in the country, which is scheduled for December. The two distinctive variants stand out for their generous list of technology and class-leading safety features, making the Silverado one of the most advanced pickups available in the country. Here is pricing for the 2025 Silverado in the Argentine market:

  • 2025 Silverado Z71: 91,883,900 pesos (about $92,450 USD at the current exchange rate)
  • 2025 Silverado High Country: 103,384,900 pesos ($103,981 USD)
