Ram has released the first official images of the refreshed, heavy-duty 2025 Ram HD. A full model reveal is expected at some point before the end of the year, at which time additional details will be provided to shed light in the refreshed model’s new design, powertrain, and technology offerings. When it goes on sale, the refreshed 2025 Ram HD will square-off against the Chevy Silverado HD.
According to Stellantis, the full official reveal for the 2025 Ram HD is approaching, and as such, the automaker’s engineers are elbow-deep in final testing. The team is now focused on the heavy-duty pickup’s cooling system, and as such, prototype units will be “running loose in the wild, with the camouflage removed,” prompting Stellantis to “share some quality exterior images with you rather than a badly lit snapshot out the window at 70 mph.”
The official images show the 2025 Ram HD and Chassis Cab lineup from the front in three colors – dark blue, white, and red, giving us a clear look at the revised front-end styling. In addition, the automaker released a pair of images showing the 2025 Ram Heavy Duty Rebel, including a front three-quarters shot and a rear three-quarter shot, once again providing an unobstructed view of what the refreshed pickup will look like.
No doubt, the refreshed looks will be polarizing. The front grille on the 2025 Ram Heavy Duty Rebel is particularly noteworthy, integrating a bizarre mishmash of contrasting vertical and horizontal lines of various shapes and sizes. The headlights include a two-tiered split with bright lighting signatures, while lower in the fascia, we see some horizontal fog lights.
Meanwhile, the grille treatments on the other two models pictured, appear to be a bit more conventional, with large horizontal slates laid across the width of the primary air intake.
As for what’s bolted in behind those frontal intakes, the new 2025 Ram HD will offer a Cummins diesel engine, while the 6.4L Hemi V8 will likely make a return as well, although the High Output Hurricane six-cylinder may replace the Hemi given its greater output potential compared to the V8.
