The 2022 Cadillac CT4 arrives as the third model year for the luxury sedan nameplate, offering a select number of changes and updates over the preceding 2021 model year. Among these is the inclusion of Wireless Phone Charging as standard across the Cadillac CT4 model line.
Tagged with RPO code K4C, the Wireless Phone Charging feature is now standard on 2022 Cadillac CT4 Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, and V-Series, as well as the new-for-2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing. Previously, the only 2021 Cadillac CT4 to offer standard Wireless Phone Charging was the CT4-V model, while the feature was optional the rest of the 2021 model-year lineup.
With regard to the 2021 model year, Wireless Phone Charging was available on Luxury trim levels via either the Bose Premium Audio Package (RPO code Y24, priced at $850), or the Sun and Sound Package (RPO code PCM, priced at $2,450). Wireless Phone Charging was also available on Premium Luxury and Sport trims with either the Bose Premium Audio Package (RPO code Y24, priced at $850) or the Navigation and Bose Premium Audio Package (RPO code Y26, priced at $1,400).
General Motors’ Wireless Phone Charging technology allows both drivers and passengers to charge their smartphone without plugging into a wired connection, thus reducing clutter in the cabin and providing greater ease-of-use. The feature works by placing compatible devices directly onto a charging pad, allowing the device to charge as you go. What’s more, Wireless Phone Charging can now be paired with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for a completely wire-free experience inside the cabin.
Notably, the 2022 Cadillac CT4 also introduces the new range-topping performance model known as the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, which is equipped with a variety of go-fast equipment. Highlights include the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine, which produces 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. Output is routed rearwards through a standard six-speed manual transmission, while a 10-speed automatic is optional.

When do you think Cadillac will update its website to post 2022 details and configurator? It still shows 2021 data such as listing Evergreen Metallic paint (a cool color that I would get if it was still offered).
