The 2020 Corvette Stingray is currently rolling out to select international markets, including the Middle East. Now, following a regional debut at the 2019 Dubai International Motor Show, the latest Corvette is up for grabs at regional dealers.
“The 2020 Stingray is the culmination of decades of history and experience – it is the most advanced Corvette yet,” said Chief Marketing Officer, General Motors Middle East & Africa, Kenny MacDonald. “The new layout delivers unprecedented performance and preciseness whether on road or track. We are confident that it will appeal to enthusiasts in the Middle East and exceed their expectations, especially at the price point.”
Middle East-bound units of the 2020 Corvette Stingray start at US$86,500 when equipped with the Z51 Performance Package. The new Corvette is on sale at Chevrolet dealers across the Middle East.
Buyers have the option for 12 different exterior colors, including Accelerate Yellow, Arctic White, Black, Blade Silver Metallic, Ceramic Matrix Gray, Elkhart Lake Blue, Long Beach Red, Rapid Blue, Sebring Orange, Shadow Gray, Torch Red, and Zeus Bronze.
Customers also have six interior colors to choose from on their 2020 Corvette Stingray, including Adrenaline Red, Jet Black, Morello Red, Natural Dipped, Sky Cool Gray, and Two-Tone Blue. Further customization opportunities include six seat belt colors – Blue, Black, Torch Red, Orange, Natural, and Yellow – and two optional stitching packages – Yellow and Red. The standard appointment includes a black interior and Sky Cool Gray stitching.
Middle East customers will have access to all three trim levels, including 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT.
Mounted just behind the cabin space is the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 engine. Figures for the Middle East-spec 2020 Corvette Stingray are the same as those for North American models, with 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque produced when equipped with the optional performance exhaust system. The V8 sends output to the rear axle by way of an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

there are americans here in the USA are waiting on their C-8s and GM is shipping them overseas.
Now you know why Trump got in Mary Barra's face!!!
You cannot even fill USA ordeers for Corvettes let alone the mideast? something isw wrong with gm's priorities.!!!
Let’s take care of US orders first. I’m one that’s waiting on my 2021. USA first
someone lineing their pockets!!
This is complete BS! I canceled my 1 1/2 old order after seeing this!
Tony/FYI
I left a deposit 7/26/19.....after the 2 shutdowns with the strike,I had a build date of 3/23/20,which obviously got pushed back
It was built 6/25/20, and took possession 7/20/20
The biggest frustration was due to lack of infor from the dealer or GM corvette
Hot line.....I wouldn’t hv the patience to ever again wait for a flipping car but will admit the car
Continues to be the most impressive Vette I hv owned being my 8th corvette.....Hope u received
Yr car by now...👍👍👍
Ridiculous!
Can't even get enough C-8's here in the states, and they opened up the Middle East!
What a joke!
Chevrolet says Loyalty, I've had a deposit on one since July 2019, still don't have the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's all about the bottom line. The starting price for a 1LT with the Z51 package is $86500.00. The same car here is $64900.00. But, the stupid arabs will pay the higher price plus a god awful shipping cost.
I went and saw these at the dealer a couple of weeks ago they had two sold in the basement i had a look around. I asked about the wait list they said next shipment comes in May but could still spec what wanted with 5k aed deposit . The pricing seems a bit ridiculous. 365k aed and 395k aed. You can get some good cars here for that sort of money.
It was NOT a good idea to tell C8 hungry Americans that you're send C8s to the Middle East. I've been waiting for mine for almost a year and tried to be patient because of the strike and Cover-19, but this is a bitter pill to swallow. I still have no idea when I might be getting mine. It's very frustrating!
And here in Australia, we are still waiting for them to be released about this time next year. Apart from some pre-production test mules, they haven't even started building RHD Corvettes yet. We'' be lucky if we see them by Christmas 2021.
I been waiting for mine a year and a half and to read this, crazy! Where will they get those cars to fill orders for the 2020. I am being told mine will be a 2021 because they ran out of time to build.
