To us, the City Express is like the unwanted stepchild in the Chevrolet lineup, mostly because — besides Chevrolet badging — it has zero Chevrolet/GM “DNA”. After all, it was developed and is manufactured by Nissan with no GM/Chevrolet input. Even so, the compact van is getting some minor changes for the 2018 model year.
To start, the Rear Vision Camera becomes standard on the 1LS and 1LT trims.
The 2018 City Express also gets standard Bluetooth for phone on the 1LS trim.
The updates and changes described here are specific to the U.S. market and may be different for other markets.
And that does it for Chevy’s Nissan-built compact for the 2018 model year. Here’s to hoping that Chevy will have a van of its own to offer in this segment sometime in the near future.
