GM pulled the sheets on the all-new third generation of the Chevy Traverse this summer with the debut of the 2024 Chevy Traverse, ushering in an extensive list of changes, including the addition of the ruggedly styled, off-road capable Z71 trim. However, the carryover 2024 Traverse Limited will launch before the third-gen model.
Now, GM Authority has uncovered the pricing details of the 2024 Chevy Traverse Limited. MSRP for the LS, LT Cloth, LT Leather, RS, and High Country trims remains exactly same as for the 2023 Chevy Traverse, with a destination freight charge of $1,395.
The 2024 Chevy Traverse Limited offers all five trim levels in both front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations. The lowest price in the lineup is for the LS trim with FWD, offering a base MSRP plus DFC of $35,915. The highest base price is $55,595 for the AWD configuration of the High Country trim level.
The table below provides a full breakdown of the pricing for the Chevy Traverse Limited:
Trim Level | Drivetrain | 2024 MSRP + DFC |
---|---|---|
LS | FWD | $35,915 |
LS | AWD | $37,915 |
LT Cloth | FWD | $38,440 |
LT Cloth | AWD | $42,240 |
LT Leather | FWD | $42,135 |
LT Leather | AWD | $44,135 |
RS | FWD | $46,440 |
RS | AWD | $48,440 |
Premier | FWD | $48,595 |
Premier | AWD | $51,195 |
High Country | FWD | $53,395 |
High Country | AWD | $55,595 |
The 2024 Chevy Traverse Limited will be offered for a limited time only and is effectively a continuation of 2023 model-year production under a new model-year designation. The Limited was introduced as a direct result of the UAW Stand Up Strike, which disrupted production the Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan by targeting it with a local strike.
As GM Authority further uncovered, the 2024 Chevy Traverse Limited is identical to the outgoing model year, and will not include any type of special Limited badging. Start of regular production (SORP) for the carryover model is scheduled for January of the 2024 calendar year. Dealers started entering orders on November 15th, with GM picking those orders up beginning on November 30th.
The third-gen 2024 Chevy Traverse is also still in the pipeline, with a Chevrolet representative stating “the 2024 Traverse Limited will be available for a short period as we ramp up production for the all-new 2024 Traverse, which will launch in early 2024, just as we announced when we revealed it.”
The next-generation Traverse will have its own pricing, to be announced at a future date, which will likely diverge from the current model’s MSRP structure. Among many other changes, the new 2024 Traverse will drop the High Country variant for now, offering a four-trim lineup, with the LS, LT, Z71, and RS as the available grades.

Why or who would buy the limited when 24s are so much different maybe with approx 25% price cut they might sell dealers are still trying to sell leftover 23s in december year old already boo to gm
Why not just keep the '23 model until the '24 is ready? Why go to all this trouble for a few month run?
You're talking about a company that went bankrupt in 2008..... They still have the same mentality. I guess some people needed to justify their jobs.
What are the engine options?
it's a carry-over, so only the 3.6L is offered
Was asking about the 24 engine options. I know that the 3.6 is done after 23 even though it is a good engine.
Being a male driver on popular streets in the Amazon, we all know the risks involved on the bumpy roads. We all agree on that situation.
The styling is a carryover from the 2011 model year... How are those timing chains holding up now?
They are keeping the 23s they are just calling them 24s price increase go to trade that in a few years from now good luck gms just have to manys unsold 23s left
Actually. the stying is a carryover from 2018. The 2011 styling was hideous at best.
Huh? Timing chains were fixed during the initial Lambda run, and certainly weren't a cause for concern by the 2013 refresh.
Plus, the LLT and LFY are different engines, so...
will the 2024 Limited run have all the safety chips? the 2023's do not.......
Yes all the chips includes
