Originally designed as a special edition in conjunction with Carhartt, a Detroit-based workware company, the 2021 Chevy Silverado HD Carhartt Edition received bevy of unique styling touches over the “regular” Silverado HD LTZ. Now, GM Authority has learned the 2023 Silverado HD Carhartt Edition is no longer available to order.
Sources close to the matter told GM Authority that the Bow Tie brand stopped taking orders during the week of October 27th 2022. As of the time of this writing, it’s currently unknown if the Carhartt Edition will return for the 2024 model year, when the Silverado HD will introduce a mid-cycle refresh.
Only available on Silverado 2500 HD LTZ Crew Cab 4WD models, the Carhartt Edition (RPO code CSE) package costs $3,605 and features a long list of items (relevant RPO codes in parenthesis):
In order to equip this exhaustive list of items, the Carhartt Edition requires the optioning of a few additional packages as well (relevant pricing and RPO codes in parenthesis):
An interesting piece to note is that Carhartt Edition was originally revealed as a concept vehicle at SEMA 2016, but following large public interest, GM made it available to order for 2021.
