You couldn’t pay me to drive a Chinese Buick crossover.
Hard to find these on the lots around here, seeing a lot of them out and about, nobody cares.
On Star mandatory? Big mistake by GM. On Star must be losing money so everyone has to pay for it.
all Envisions being delivered to dealers are MISSING parts and missing standard features….why would anyone want to buy a partially built vehicle with a large price increase
Bring it back to the USA you greedy scuzz. China supports world war. Tiime to leave. btw…. you have LOST the everyday customer with your cars that cost too much and the TRAX motor with its worthless self-destructing TURBO blows up at the 100,000 mile mark and you know it. I can smell the same management problem as the early 80’s… so stuck on yourselves and maintaining your power base that people do not care about the goals of the enterprise and you are even willing to give back door support to our sworn warlike enemies. bye bye GM.
The fix? Marketing campaign of bringing it all back home. Figure out how to market little non-turbo highly reliable motors that power a big long wagon and sedan and suv-shaped car and meld the public image of ‘plenty of power’ . Example, the Cruze was a fail because you did not advertise it – and of course the turbo leaks and it is a P.O.S. after 100K, but skip squeezing the last H.P. out of it and make it solid, reliable. Remember 6 cylinder 3-in-the-tree? Those cars were slow but wonderful to float down the highway. Make a BIG floating quiet boat with a very modest motor and shape the chassis to be converted to electric by putting in the brackets or braces or whatever so that the production line needs less change.
Also, with trax… announce that there will be no significant changes and turn it into a cult car like the vw bug. Get young people to the brand by offering an under 15K car that is void of extras but has a port and a mount for peoples Ipad or whatever. Rollup windows. Heat and ac. The only option being a great radio – one that people COULD EASILY swap in to replace the ‘standard’ receiver AND speakers. Same tires, same wheels, no trim levels. Also establish a race class for them at the SCCA.
You guys suck at management. You are once again sinking the ship, and I know you could care less.
