GM officially unveiled the all-new 2023 Chevy Colorado in July, showing off a fresh third generation complete with a long list of changes and updates. As was the case for the second-gen pickup, the 2023 Chevy Colorado is once again offered in the off-road-ready ZR2 trim level, and now, we’re getting hands-on with the 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 interior with the following exclusive video.
Hosted by GM Authority Executive Editor Alex Luft, the video is a bit under 12 minutes long and provides a full tour of the 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 interior. It’s also worth noting that the model featured in the video is also equipped with the optional Desert Boss package, which enhances the off-roader with a selection of unique exterior features.
Inside, the 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 is equipped with an overhauled interior layout. The cabin includes a mix of hard and soft materials, while standard spec for the ZR2 includes a unique Artemis interior colorway with Strike-colored accents with ZR2 badging. Heated front seats and an eight-way power driver’s seat are both equipped as standard.
Up top, there are microphones embedded into the headliner, as well as a new sunroof that’s all-new for the third-gen pickup. The overhauled interior bits include a new steering wheel design, as well as an all-new, all-digital gauge cluster, plus an all-new horizontally oriented infotainment screen mounted high on the dash. A selection of hard buttons are located underneath the infotainment screen providing inputs for the HVAC system and seat heating, below which are horizontal air vents complementing circular air vents located in the corners of the dash.
More hard buttons are underneath the vents for the locker controls, automatic engine stop start system, hazard lights, and more. Wired inputs and a wireless phone charger finish off the center stack.
Moving on to the center tunnel, the shifter includes a toggle switch that allows the driver to manually select gears. The shifter connects to the second-generation GM eight-speed automatic transmission.
There’s plenty more to cover about the interior in the new 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2, so hit play for the full video tour:
As a reminder, the 2023 Chevy Colorado is motivated by the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, which is offered in three separate states of tune depending on the trim level selected. The ZR2 trim gets the top 2.7L Turbo High-Output tune good for 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque.
The 2023 Chevy Colorado is set to hit production in January at the GM Wentzville plant in Missouri.

Is the rear window power or not?
To me those tiny sliding rear windows are pointless on cabs that have 4 doors.
Naysayers what do you use a sliding rear window for?
Pretty sure the rear window is still manual.
That is my take so far. I wonder if the GMC will be too. I am ok with that as I never use it but on the Forum it is a big deal.
I never use or give the rear window any thought either, but as I'm writing this comment I am wondering if this would be the case if the rear window was power. Being manual, I certainly never will use it.
Never use mine but many on the Forum love to use it to clear the warm cab on a hot day.
I just asked as it will be a topic soon.
How much does it help with 4 windows that roll down?
I use the one on my RCSB mainly to avoid getting buffeted by the wind.
Better if they had what the tundras have and the whole damn thing comes down.
What about garage door openers? I may have missed them or a basic feature missing.
The ZR2 is suppose to be the top model, yet I haven't see one pic that shows it with cooled seats or the power memory function. Big oversight imho.
...and I would pay for a rear power window.
Although the new mid-size trucks coming out are much improved over the outgoing models, this segment still gets the short end of the stick when it comes to options.
