These 2023 Chevy Silverado HD Wheels Are No Longer Available

As the Chevy Silverado HD soldiers into the 2023 model year, a handful of 20-inch wheel options will not be available to order on the pickup, GM Authority has learned.

The following three wheel options are no longer available for the 2023 Chevy Silverado HD (relevant RPO codes listed in parentheses):

• 20-inch Chrome aluminum wheels, LPO (SKW)
• 20-inch Aluminum high gloss Black wheels with machined finish, LPO (SKX)
• 20-inch high gloss Black aluminum wheels, LPO (SHH)

All three wheel sets are LPO-level, or dealer installed, and were previously optional on LT, LTZ and High Country trim levels. They were not offered at all on the WT and Custom trim levels. As a reminder, when a buyer opts for LPO wheels, the wheels are shipped directly to the dealership for installation while the truck itself is shipped with four aluminum 20-inch transit wheels and alignment specs are set to the 20-inch LPO wheel selected. Once the new wheels are installed, the transit wheels are shipped back to GM.

For the 2022 model year, the Chrome aluminum wheels cost $3,495, and the Aluminum high gloss Black wheels with machined finish cost $2,995. Finally, the high gloss Black aluminum wheels, priced at $2,995, were also unavailable to order on the 2022 Silverado HD starting last spring. At this time, it’s not clear why these wheels disappeared from 2023 Chevy Silverado HD’s order sheet, but the refreshed 2024 Chevy Silverado HD might get new wheel options.

As a reminder, the 2023 Chevy Silverado HD offers two engine options, including the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine, rated at 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, and the 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine, rated at 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. Order books for the 2023 Chevy Silverado HD opened May 5^th, 2022, while production at the GM Flint plant in Michigan started on July 18^th, and will start in September at the GM Oshawa plant in Canada.
