We have the latest on the nearly four-month long stop-sale that has been in place on the 2016 Chevrolet SS, and it’s good news, owners and near owners.
Multiple users on the official SS Forum have reported they have taken delivery of their vehicles as of yesterday. States in which parts seem to be trickling in for the seatbelt tensioner recall, responsible for the stop sale, include Ohio, Florida and Arizona among others.
The process has been a painful one for many potential buyers, many of which have had their 2016 SS sedans sit at the dealership until parts arrived for the recall.
As for the 20 percent off MSRP incentive, which was ongoing at the time of the stop sale, it remains to be seen if Chevrolet dealerships will honor it. Following the remaining 2016 Chevrolet SS sedans left at dealerships, General Motors has placed an additional order for 1,000 2017 Chevrolet SS sedans, marking the final model year for the sport sedan.
