Second-Generation Camaro And 2015 GMC Sierra Stolen After Drag Week

It breaks our hearts to report on vehicle thefts, but it’s a vital step in helping to recover stolen property: spread the word.

In this case, a truck, trailer and race car was stolen from outside a restaurant in Collinsville, Illinois, following the end of Drag Week, according to Hot Rod.

Collinsville is located close to St. Louis, MO and those in the surrounding area should keep their eyes open for a white 1974-77 Chevrolet Camaro with the license plate 980CMT and a blue 2015 GMC Sierra Crew Cab. If you have any information that could lead to its recovery please contact the Collinsville Police Department.

Race results aside, losing your drag car, trailer, and a Sierra is quite possibly the worst way to end the glorious seven-day race event that is Drag Week. Keep your eyes peeled, folks.
