We’re nearly there. Holden will unveil what it’s calling its “greatest Commodore ever built” this Sunday, September 13 at the company’s headquarters during a special event: the 2016 VF Holden Commodore Series II.
The unveiling will take place in a custom-built Commodore Gallery, celebrating 37 years of the car’s nameplate. Holden says the gallery has been designed by Commodore enthusiasts to include iconic cars, featuring the original 1978 VB Commodore, historical photographs, motorsport heroes and detail the evolution of Commodore.
Holden’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mark Bernhard, will be present to address media for the first time since taking his new position, and Holden says he plans to share his vision for the company as well as make a very important announcement regarding “future operations and the Melbourne workforce.”
In addition, the brand says to keep an eye out for two new 2016 Holden Commodore Series II teasers to be released leading up to the reveal.
The live reveal will be broadcast live, and fans may tune into the webcast via Holden’s official Facebook page.

Sunday the 13th, huh? Ok, I'll be looking back then! Hopefully all the 2016 ordering and car details will be made available then as well. The magnifying glass is getting polished up, and is starting to glee....
Remember that "Sunday the 13th" is local in Australia. I believe the announcement of the reveal said 10:30am AEST. That's 5:30 PM, Saturday the 12th on the west coast of the USA, 8:30pm Saturday along the eastern US.
