Check Out All The 2025 Chevy Suburban Colors

Refreshed with new, more dynamic styling, a new diesel engine option, and an expanded array of technology, the 2025 Chevy Suburban joins the other major GM full-size SUV nameplates in offering fresh looks and features for 2025. Among these, there are some changes to the available Chevy Suburban colors.

Specifically, the palette of exterior paints offered for the refreshed sport-utility drops three of the Chevy Suburban colors offered for 2024, including Empire Beige Metallic (color code GJW), Midnight Blue Metallic (GLU) and Silver Sage Metallic (G6N). Two new colors were added, with the current lineup shown here:

With Cypress Gray (GBD) and Lakeshore Blue Metallic (GXP) as the two new Chevy Suburban colors, the lineup now contains eight paint choices in all. Five of these are no-charge colors, while the other three are priced at $395, $495 and $995 respectively. Three of the colors are offered on all trim levels of the 2025 Suburban.

Notably, there are only six 2025 Chevy Suburban colors for each trim level, including the LS, LT, Z71, RST, Premier and High Country trims. Since each trim has no more and no less than six colors out of the eight on offer, this may be part of the GM “Winning with Simplicity” initiative. The table below shows availability:

Beyond the offered 2025 Chevy Suburban colors, the Bow Tie vehicle is the only SUV model in the U.S. to currently offer a family-friendly front bench seat option to maximize passenger capacity. Other standout features of the refreshed Suburban include a new exterior for the off-road focused Z71 trim, which you can check out in a video here.

Changes to the SUV continue under the skin, with new suspension features such as updated dampers prompting GM Authority Executive Editor Alex Luft to comment “ride quality and handling ability are noticeably improved.” Units equipped with GM Super Cruise will be available to order on February 17th, 2025, while orders for Suburbans equipped with the new diesel engine open on March 3rd, 2025.

  1. Except for one paint code, an Escalade has the same paint codes. A person spends a lot of extra dough just to have a Cadillac logo on their Suburban.

    1. As has always been the case.

      1. Unfortunately, it is far more amplified, without actually having extra value. Doesn’t matter which one, they are both overpriced!

  2. Strange that Summit white is only available on LS and LT trim packages. On the Yukon it is available across all trims.

  3. Why did they get rid of Empire Beige Metallic? Loved that color! We have a ’23 High Country Tahoe in that color and were thinking we’d trade this year. Guess we’ll keep driving it for awhile.

Also why isn’t the air suspension available on the Premier and why do I have to get the sunroof and power running boards in order to get the air suspension or the Max Trailering Package?

  4. I hope they didn’t pay somebody big bucks to come up with this lineup. It’s about as creative as buttered noodles.

  5. Because it’s not the options you want, it’s what you have to pay for to get that extra you want. It’s called padding the bottom line, or controlling packaging for there benefit!

  6. So, according to this chart, you can only order the “Summit White” color in an LS or LT trim?
Was under the belief that white was one of the most popular colors nowadays but you can only buy a vehicle in “white” color in two model trims? Does that make any sense to anyone else?
Alfred Sloan is rolling over in his grave. They want “brain dead money” for their vehicles but do not give the customers any choice in what colors.

“You can have it in any color you want as long as it is black.” ~ Henry Ford
