GM has rolled out an exciting mid-cycle refresh for the 2025 Chevy Suburban, giving buyers more technology and a new turbodiesel engine choice wrapped in eye-catching new styling. Even the rollers the SUV moves on get a significant change, with a much-expanded selection of Chevy Suburban wheels.
GM added nine styles of 2025 Chevy Suburban wheels to the lineup, nearly doubling the number of available rollers to 21. Each of the SUV’s six trim levels has a standard wheel set (with the same set shared by the LS and LT trims) along with a variety of optional wheels, as seen here:
A wide range of different sizes of Chevy Suburban wheels are offered for the 2025 model year, ranging from 18 inches in diameter through 20 inches, 22 inches and 24 inches. The 24-inch rollers are available for the first time on the SUV, as GM Authority was first to discover. These could eventually lead to 26-inch wheels, but for now the 24-inch wheels are the biggest choices on offer.
Many of the 2025 Chevy Suburban wheels are optional, with prices starting at $525 and going up from there. The LPO or dealer-installed wheels, which are all 22 inches in diameter or bigger, start at $2,225 and range up to $3,795. The prices of some, including the 24-inch wheels mentioned before, are still to be determined. The table below summarizes all the info on the 2025 Suburban’s wheels:

Moving past the numerous optional Chevy Suburban wheels, there are other options available for the refreshed SUV as well. The LS trim offers a front bench seat option to squeeze in one extra passenger, a choice that is the only one of its kind among current U.S. marketed full-size sport-utility vehicles.
The 2025 model year introduces changes everywhere, including a new exterior look for the Z71 trim, reviewed on video by GM Authority. The updates are more than skin-deep, with an upgraded suspension providing a smoother, more stable ride, including over rough roads or poorly-maintained pavement.
As for pricing, the most affordable trim is the entry-level LS with rear-wheel drive, priced at $63,495 to start, while the most expensive is the four-wheel drive configured High Country trim featuring an $84,695 base MSRP. You can try out builds using the online configurator, though Suburban SUVs equipped with GM Super Cruise can’t be ordered until February 17th, 2025 and order books for variants with the new turbodiesel engine won’t open until March 3rd, 2025.
Under the hood, the 2025 Suburban cradles three engines – the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 offering 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 producing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and the newly introduced 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine developing 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. Availability of the engines has changed for the refreshed model, too.
The GM T1 platform continues to underpin the 2025 Chevy Suburban following its extensive refresh. The site of production for the SUV model is the GM Arlington plant in Texas.
