Vauxhall Gears Up Its Commercial Vans For Isle Of Man TT Sponsorship

Isle of Man TT (tourist trophy), has deep ties with the United Kingdom. Therefore, it only makes sense the UK’s own Vauxhall be supporting the storied motorcycle event with its lineup of practical, and capable, commercial vehicles.

Vauxhall has announced a full sponsorship for the 2015 Isle of Man TT, and will provide its entire portfolio of commercial vans for support. That includes the Vauxhall Combo for course set-up duties, the British-built nine-seater Combi Minibus to transport race marshals and, finally, the heavy-duty Movano Tipper.

Gordon Hannen, Vauxhall Regional Operations Manager, commented, “We have already established great relationships with riders and teams alike who have recognized that our commercials can offer a very practical, value for money proposition to anyone needing vans for either their business or motorcycle race team use.”

“We have already built an impressive portfolio of customers with the likes of 21 time TT winner John McGuinness, five time TT winner Ian Hutchinson, Padgetts Racing team, Tyco BMW race team and Jason Griffiths Motorcycles to name a few. And we are continuing to reach out to the thousands of motorcycle race fans through our sponsorship of events such as the Vauxhall International North West 200 and the Isle of Man TT.”

Besides seeing the capability of Vauxhall commercial vehicles in action, guests of the 2015 Isle of Man TT will be treated to a full display of Vauxhall commercial vans at TT Village, Noble’s Park in Douglas, Isle of Man throughout practice and race week. Isle of Man TT runs from May 30, to June 12.
