The new 2015 Chevrolet Performance parts catalog has been announced at SEMA, and the pages are loaded with a slew of new, performance-oriented components for the discerning Chevrolet fan.
Most notably, as we reported on back in May of this year, customers can nudge their fifth-generation Camaro SS coupes in a more track-oriented direction with parts straight from the Z/28 performance model. The Camaro Z/28‘s aerodynamic components, differential cooler, exhaust manifold and cat-back exhaust are just some of the go-fast parts available for order. The suspension kit from the Z/28 is also available; it features hydraulic struts that have an unfathomably cool, futuristic valve system that we can’t even begin to understand.
And then there’s the 6.2L V8 LT1 crate engine. Debuted in the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, the fifth-gen 6.2 liter small-block is half evolutionary, half revolutionary. It is, after all, the first Chevy small-block to offer direct-injection, and continuously variable valve-timing. The crate engine, now available from the 2015 Chevrolet Performance catalog, is priced at $11,000 with the ECU and harness included. the dry-sump version costs an additional $250.
In addition, three other crate engines will be available in the 2015 Chevrolet Performance catalog:
Finally, there are some new transmission adaptation packages:
With the extensive list of new performance parts now at the Chevrolet customer’s disposal, it has not become a whole lot more difficult to be a car enthusiast in any other domestic automaker’s camp.

There is so many gas engines in that performance catalog, but it must be upgraded with the latest item that can give 0 to 60 in seconds and never use gas. GM now has the new 5ET50 Electric Drive Unit (EDU) that has two electric motors, transmission, clutches, differential, and control unit in a single package (only needs battery power), made for the new 2016 Chevy Volt. This EDU is the future of performance for EVs!
