GM Looks To Add More Flair To Its World Headquarters

GM’s global headquarters, otherwise known as the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit recently saw the addition of some eye-catching LED signs and rings to match around its main tower. But the company still feels that the rest of the exterior of the complex is too monochromatic, and is looking to illuminate the reviving city’s skyline even brighter.

According to the Detroit Free Press, The General would like to install some vertical LED bands around the exterior elevator towers of the outer tubes, and is currently lobbying the city to relax its signage code so that it can display even more things from its 25-foot signs atop the main tower.

Hopefully they don’t make it look like another casino.
