Family Lives Their ‘Biggest Life’ In New GMC Acadia Ad: Video

The GMC Acadia nameplate received an all-new third generation for the 2024 model year, debuting a long list of upgrades and changes. Among these changes are new exterior dimensions, with the 2024 GMC Acadia measuring longer, wider, and taller than the preceding generation. Now, GMC is showing off some of the Acadia’s comfort and tech features with the following video advertisement titled “Live Your Biggest Life.”

Clocking in at 30 seconds, the video shows a family undertaking an early morning adventure. In the video, we see the seven-seater cabin, with the rear third-row bench folding up to accommodate passengers. The family later loads onboard and sets out with the sky still dark before sunrise.

The video highlights the new Acadia’s 15-inch diagonal infotainment screen, which is mounted in a vertical tablet-like orientation in the center console, as well as the GM Super Cruise system, which is offered as an optional upgrade and provides drivers with hands-free semi-autonomous driver assistance. The panoramic sunroof, which provides a view of the dark sky above, provides an excellent view for passengers.

As the family crests a hill, they unload and watch the sunrise together, capturing a serene moment of family bonding.

The 2024 Acadia’s larger exterior dimensions take the nameplate back to its full-size crossover roots. For readers who may be unaware, the first-gen Acadia was roughly the same size as the current third-gen, while the second-gen model was a midsize model.

Notably, GM is aiming to attract additional female buyers with the all-new 2024 GMC Acadia, as GM Authority covered previously. In the video, we see a mom featured prominently throughout, and the dad doesn’t get a speaking role.

As a reminder, the 2024 GMC Acadia cradles the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine and rides on the GM C1 platform. Production takes place at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant.

  • So…if I drive one of these with the 2.5l in it, you’re telling me I’m living my “biggest life”?
Way to set the bar low.

  • I will keep my 4WD 2022 Acadia Denali... with the 3.6 V6 (and yes, I tow with this vehicle)

  • Looks like a bloated Honda pilot. The stance is all wrong, side profile is ugly and the body overhang is too much. The wheels look sunken in like a 80's vehicle. The previous model was sportier looking with the longer hood and stance. I'll keep my 2021 Denali AWD with the v6
