When it comes to Chevy’s current lineup of Chevy Silverado medium-duty trucks, the Silverado 4500 HD, Silverado 5500 HD, and Silverado 6500 HD currently stand as the Bow Tie brand’s commercial offerings. However, until those trucks were introduced for the 2019 model year, it was the Chevy Kodiak that filled this role up until 2009. Now, we have the opportunity to purchase this lavish 2005 Chevy Kodiak that was recently listed for sale.
Posted for sale online in Texas, this 2005 Chevy Kodiak is certainly unlike most MD trucks we’ve seen before. Originally purchased new in Colorado, this truck was taken to a shop in Houston, Texas to have an extensive list of modifications performed.
Starting with the exterior, this Kodiak features grafted-on Cadillac Escalade headlamps and fog lamps, custom bed rails, a truck bed, and striping. Rolling on 28-inch American Force wheels wrapped in new Lexani tires, this Kodiak rides on an air suspension that allows for its lowered look. Further goodies include a remote starter viper alarm and an Edge programmer that provides a decent bump in output.
Moving to the inside, the interior is all custom, along with a thumping audio system. The dashboard has been color-matched to the exterior paint job, while brown leather upholstery furnishes the seats.
In the powertrain department, this 2005 Kodiak is equipped with a Duramax turbodiesel engine, and only features 17,000 miles on the odometer. Notably, the seller notes that the engine bay and undercarriage are spotless.
It’s worth noting that the seller of this truck is asking for $150,000.
So, what do you think, dear reader? Is this 2005 Chevy Kodiak worth the astronomic asking price? Or is it overvalued given the truck’s intended purpose? Let us know what you think in the comment section below!

If Bill had anything to do with the build it's not worth having because most of his builds aren't even road worthy
The price of luxury pickup trucks is stratospheric and this custom truck by a renowned builder is probably a bit of a bargain compared to new run of the mill ride.
I think it's a nice truck. And what he did to it is even nice. Like someone else said, brand new their expensive, and i know he had a ton of work done to it. So I understand why he wants what he wants, but at the end of the day it's too much. Nice truck tho.
Ok Truck, I will offer a MoneyTag Of $65K
Seller forgot the requirement of needing tiny genitalia and a sever overcompensating mental diagnosis.
These commercial grade trucks being setup for residential use is beyond stupid.
