Road rage can make people do some pretty wild things. Something about getting behind the wheel can transform an otherwise rational, sane individual into a slobbering maniac, if they’re pushed the wrong way that is. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happens between this Chevy SS and Chevy Silverado, per the following viral video.
Recently making the rounds on social media, the video is brief, but manages to show the two vehicles engaging in some very aggressive behavior before the inevitable collision. Although it’s unclear from the video, the comments section indicates the video was captured in Texas.
The video opens with a night shot on a freeway, with the video apparently captured by a passenger in a nearby vehicle. As the video gets under way, we see the Chevy SS swerving across multiple lanes before brake-checking the Chevy Silverado. The Chevy Silverado responds by quickly switching lanes and accelerating, which makes the Chevy SS do the same as the sedan belts out a loud V8 exhaust note.
The two maniacs approach some traffic, causing other vehicles to scramble out of the way. As the Chevy Silverado approaches the Chevy SS from the rear, we see the pickup driver signal left, then quickly jerk the wheel right. The move makes the Silverado oversteer, swinging the weight of the truck back and forth across the suspension, and the truck swings out of control back to left – towards the Chevy SS.
The Silverado collides with the right-rear quarter panel of the Chevy SS, causing it to spin out across the highway. We see the truck smash into the center retaining wall, sparks flying, as the Chevy SS pirouettes towards the right-hand barrier, a trail of black tire marks behind it.
It’s crazy to see, but not entirely unexpected after the moves seen earlier in the video. Watch the whole thing go down right here:

LOL, puneta.
IMHO, I don’t think the truck oversteered and lost control. I think he intentionally swerved and then rammed the SS from the side. Crazy behavior and not worth it.
Is there anyway to stop with the Instagram ? Not everybody buys into FB crap. thank you again and again
Welcome to Mission, Texas.
This driving force known “as the automobile” needs to be taken out of the control of semi idiots
that think it’s less dangerous than carrying a gun. I don’t know if the truck driver tried to ram the
car…I don’t care. I don’t care about either party. They don’t care about me and my family who uses
the interstate to safely get from here to there. The mentality of drivers, apparently more prolific in Texas, needs to be addressed for their functional brain cells. The automobile IS a deadly weapon.
It’s high time we as a society move to get these creeps off our tax funded roads.
Jail both of them, doesn’t matter how it started, both escalated it and were aggressive and endangered everyone else nearby.
can’t fix stupid, but you can vaccinate it.
